When you attempt to start Remote Assistance in Microsoft Office Live Communicator 2005 on Windows Server 2003, Remote Assistance does NOT start, even if you enable Remote Assistance Office Communicator 2005 policy.
Remote Assistance is disabled by default in Windows Server 2003. If you have NOT enabled it, you will experience this behavior:
1. Start / Run / Sysdm.cpl / OK.
2. Select the Remote tab.
3. Select Allow Remote Assistance invitations to be sent from this computer box.
4. Press OK.
