Sony Electronics introduced two high-definition flat-panel LCD TVs, the 42" KDL-42XBR950 and 32" KDL-32XBR950. The TVs have a twin-view feature that lets you watch high-definition and analog programs simultaneously, an Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) and Quality Assessment Measurement (QAM)-compatible tuner, and a contrast-enhancer function that automatically adjusts brightness and contrast. Each TV also includes a digital visual interface (DVI); a High-Definition Television (HDTV) connection; a memory-stick media slot for JPEG images, Moving Pictures Experts Group (MPEG), and MP3 playback; and five sets of audio/video (A/V) inputs that let you hook up DVD players, gaming devices, and other appliances. The KDL-42XBR950 costs $10,000, and the KDL-32XBR950 costs $5500.
