Real Networks announced this week the immediate availability of its new RealPlayer G2 and RealPlayer Plus G2 media players. You may recall that the G2 players received a dose of notoriety last month when the CEO of Real Networks charged Microsoft with purposely disabling the player in Windows 98. The problem was later found to be in the G2 player, not Windows, and Real Networks quietly fixed the problem without apologizing to Microsoft. In any event, you can find out more information and download the player now from the Real Networks Web site
