This one slipped through the cracks this week, sorry: Microsoft has released a beta version of its upcoming Windows NetMeeting 3.0, a major upgrade to the real-time collaboration and conferencing client. NetMeeting 3.0, which will also be included in Windows 98 Second Edition, includes a simple new user interface, better audio and video in low-bandwidth situations, remote desktop sharing, and more. It's even smaller and faster than the previous version.
