Q: During a wireless deployment, I found a few configuration problems on the Access Points (APs). Is there something like Group Policy but for APs?

A: Yes. In wireless systems, it's called an access controller. Typically, the access controller lets you centrally configure all AP configurations as well as deploy firmware updates, verify configuration, monitor status, and more.

Most companies that sell APs and switches also sell hardware-based access controllers. There are also a number of software-based access controller options. While most access controller solutions can manage multiple AP brands, you should check with your preferred hardware vendor for its recommendation.
