This eLearning course is targeted at the IT professional who is interested in learning how to manage Active Directory with Windows PowerShell. If you want to know how to manage common Active Directory tasks such as creating user accounts and finding obsolete computers with greater efficiency and you have some basic PowerShell experience, this course is for you. You will learn how to use the Microsoft Active Directory module and cmdlets from a Windows 8.1 admin desktop, although much of the content will also apply to a Windows 7 desktop running PowerShell 3.0 or later. By the end of the day, you will have a solid foundation that you can apply immediately to managing AD with PowerShell.
After this session, at a minimum, you will know how to:
- Find obsolete computer accounts
- Move AD objects
- Create AD reports
