Microsoft has released an updated Excel spreadsheet covering all of the current and historic policy settings available for admins to use to manage the client environment. The latest spreadsheet publication includes a New in Windows 8.1 column, giving quick view access to the new management functions included in the Windows 8.1 release.

In addition, you can use the filtering function of the Support On column to view policy settings that are available for Windows Server 2012 R2 or Windows 8.1 in the Administrative Template worksheet.

The latest update to the GPO list covers the following operating systems:

  • Servers: Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003 with SP2 or earlier service packs
  • Clients: Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista with SP1,Windows XP Professional with SP2 or earlier service packs, and Microsoft Windows 2000 with SP5 or earlier service packs.
