One of the most common misconceptions among those who don’t rigorously examine CapEx and OpEx spreadsheets is where the highest costs in an organization’s IT infrastructure are.

Most IT infrastructure equipment comes at substantial upfront cost, so many people perceive things like server and networking systems to have the biggest infrastructure price tags.
