Time Warner and Bright House Networks approved Pace Micro Technology Americas', Pace DC-550 HD High-Definition (HD) set-top box for use in applicable resident sites. Time Warner and Bright House have begun deploying the product, which has 260 MIPS processing power and 64MB of memory. The Pace DC-550 HD fits well into home-viewing environments—it's small and has an internal router (IR) receive tether that lets you hide the box and operate it by using a remote eye. You can connect games consoles and other devices through the set-top box with loop-through connectivity, and the Pace DC-550 HD gives you zoom and stretch control of Secure Digital (SD) and HD content.
