The subject problem will occur if the supervisor account password and/or the File and Print Services for Netware account password DO NOT meet the complexity requirements of the local computer's Password Policy.

NOTE: To view the local computer's Password Policy:

1. Start / Programs / Administrative Tools / Local Security Policy.

2. Double-click Account Policies.

3. Press Password Policy.

To fix this problem:

1. Right-click My Network Places and press Properties.

2. Right-click Local Area Connection and press Properties.

3. Select the Microsoft File and Print Services for Netware service and press Uninstall.

4. Press Yes.

5. Reinstall Microsoft File and Print Services for NetWare.

6. When prompted to enter the password for the supervisor account and the service account, be sure to meet the complexity requirements of the local computer.
