The Repair option that should appear when you right-click a LAN connection, or high speed Internet connection, is missing.
This behavior will occur if your user account does NOT have the appropriate permissions to perform the repair.
You must be a member of the Network Configuration Operators local group, or the Administrators local group, to perform the Repair.
NOTE: On Windows XP Home Edition, you must log on with a Computer Administrator account. Use Control Panel / User Accounts to verify that your account is NOT a Limited or Standard account.
