When you log on to a network that uses Protected Extensible Authentication Protocol (PEAP), your credentials are stored for re-use. When you restart Windows XP, you are automatically logged onto the wireless network.

To remove your cached PEAP credentials:

1. Copy / Paste the following to a UserEapInfo.reg file:

REGEDIT4

\[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Eapol\UserEapInfo\]

2. Merge the UserEapInfo.reg with your registry, or run regedit /s UserEapInfo.reg.

NOTE: See Protected EAP (PEAP) support has been added to Windows XP SP1 and Windows Server 2003.
