I am not particularly fond of the way the 'KB nnnnnn' works, where nnnnnn is the Knowledge Base article ID.

I have created a Q command that directly retrieves nnnnnn or Qnnnnnn, when typed into the Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer Address bar (and you press Enter):

1. Close all instances of Internet Explorer.

2. Copy / Paste the following into a Q.reg file:

REGEDIT4

\[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchUrl\Q\]

3. Merge the Q.reg file with your registry or run regedit /s Q.reg.

4. Open Internet Explorer and type Q nnnnnn or Q Qnnnnnn.
