Unlike Windows NT, you may find that Command.com does not provide mouse support to a MS-DOS program.

Windows 2000 enables QuickEdit mode in the PIF settings.

Disable QuickEdit mode:

1. Start your MS-DOS program.

2. Right-click the title bar.

3. Press Properties.

4. Select the Options tab.

5. Clear the QuickEdit Mode box.

6. Press OK.

7. Press Save Properties.

8. Press OK.

9. Close all the Windows that the program opened and restart it.
