JSI Tip 0043 - Hiding a server from the browser.

To hide a 'server' from the browser, edit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters

Add Value Name Hidden, a REG_DWORD data type, and set the data value to 1.

Shutdown and restart your computer. It may take up to ½ hour for the server to disappear from the browse lists.
