Ask Dr. Bob: Trouble with NT 4.0's System-Folder Sharing Option

I have a problem with a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation machine: The Sharing option is no longer available for the system folders. I've restarted the system but still can't access Sharing from the folders' context menus or Properties dialog boxes. I must find a way to fix this problem. Do you have any suggestions?

I suspect that the culprit is a corrupted user profile. Try logging on as a different user; I typically use an administrative ID. If the problem persists, update the workstation with a new installation.
