The multi-user version of Windows NT 4.0, code-named Hydra and now known as Windows Terminal Server (WTS), will be launched in April along with a group of Windows Terminals from various vendors. According to group product manager John Frederickson, WTS "Hydra" will use a proprietary Microsoft protocol known as Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to communicate with its Windows CE-based clients. An add-on from Citrix will allow WTS systems to deal with Macintosh and UNIX clients.

The announcement is expected April 13th
