Microsoft Corporation next Wednesday will release Windows 2000 Beta 3, a "feature complete" look at the company's next-generation operating system for businesses, now set for a final release in October. Windows 2000 Beta 3 is currently available for $59 if you'd like to order it over the Internet; there won't be any free downloads. But the software, which will be handed out to an unprecedented 500,000 testers, will also be made available to technical beta testers, Microsoft partners, and MSDN subscribers.
