With One Note I find the Surface Pro 3 pen a valuable asset. It's great for taking notes in meetings, as well as, just jotting down information for future reference.

Your right Telcos are culpable of unnecessarily holding up updates. However, the 8.1 version of the Windows Phone OS can still be downloaded by requesting the developers preview. I downloaded...

I'm holding on to my Nokia 920 until a higher end Nokia Windows Phone is available with the specs I want. The 920 is a very good phone with a very good camera feature. I urge anyone with a Nokia...

I'm disappointed that none of the three new phones have the specifications of the earlier rumored Lumia 1830. However, I understand why Microsoft is reluctant to introduce anymore high end phones...

What needs to happen is a Congressional Investigation of Verizon and T-Mobile business process, because there is clearly a collusion between those carriers and either or both Apple and Google. If...

Maybe Microsoft should commission third parties to buy Verizon and AT&T.....that would be a huge game changer. Then again maybe Google or Apple has already done that.

Why would we want to agree to your limited vision? The answer to your question, "Can we all agree that there just isn't any room for Windows mobile devices to be in the same sentence as iOS or...

Any mention of or comparison of Surface Pro 3 to the Macbook Air almost always denigrates the Pro 3 for having a lesser useful track pad than the Macbook Air. Such comparisons are invalid because...

Great report of Build 2014. For those of us that weren't able to attend it is very informative.

It's an established fact never download a beta or leaked new OS on a primary computer. Either that or create a virtual drive and partition it off. Anything else is done at your own risk.

Paul,

Your Windows user explanations have been very useful to me I look forward to further Windows support in the future.

If Windows goes under, what will you be reporting on in 2014? You have provided a lot of support for Windows users over the years, I for one hope that continues.

Sorry, but the true shills are all of the comments supporting Google apps over MS Office. What little the city of Boston will save in cost, Boston employees will lose in productivity. Paul is...

While I like Windows 8 it is true that it is a learning curve shock for enterprises. My son is an IT guy for the company he works for. My son likes Windows 8, with the exception of the missing...

Solid report, which provides lots MS detail.....includes both the grizzly and the good news of MS status. I find this report very helpful.

For what its worth, I've been using MS security exclusively since I first installed Windows 7 and I'm now using MSE with Windows 8. To date I have had no security problems.
