A. Time to forget Windows NT 4.0's GUI and go to the command line. I know of some wonderful—and easy—commands that can solve your problem. I prefer Net Config Workstation, which will tell you about the workstation's configuration. (For example, Figure 1 shows information about the notebook on which I'm writing this article.) Various command-line utilities are available to help you find information or set up a network.
