Answer to Question 1
The correct answer is C—Local > Site > Domain > Organizational Unit (OU). The system applies local Group Policy Object (GPO) first, followed by site-linked GPOs in the order an administrator specifies, then domain-linked ones in the specified order, and finally OU-linked GPOs, beginning at the highest (in the Active Directory—AD—hierarchy) OU containing the user or computer account and ending with the lowest (closest to the user or computer) OU containing the user or computer. At each OU, any GPOs linked to it are applied in the order an administrator specifies.

Answer to Question 2
The correct answers are B—You can use the Winnt32 command to upgrade the NT 3.51 server directly to Win2K AS; and G—You can use the Winnt32 command to upgrade the NT 4.0 server directly to Win2K AS.

You can upgrade Windows NT 3.51 and Windows NT 4.0 servers directly to Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2000 Advanced Server. You can accomplish this upgrade using the winnt32.exe utility. You need to make sure that any system that you plan to upgrade meets the Microsoft-specified system requirements, and you need to follow the upgrade guidelines in the Microsoft documentation.

Answer to Question 3
The correct answers are A—When a user logs on to a computer; B—When a user logs off of a computer; and D—When a computer is idle.

Synchronization Manager can automatically synchronize the information that is available offline in a number of ways:

  • Every time you log on or off your computer, or both
  • At specific intervals while your computer is idle
  • At scheduled times

You can use combinations of these options and different options for offline files from different shared sources.
