A: Although App-V abstracts the application installation from the OS, the actual application is still running on the OS and shows within process monitors like Task Explorer.
If an application checks to see if an instance is already running, virtualizing the application with App-V still wouldnâ€™t allow multiple instances of the application to run concurrently.
