A. By default, Windows 2000 Professional installations enable offline folders and files, and Win2K Server installations disable folders and files.
To enable or disable support for offline folders and files, perform the following steps:
- Start Windows Explorer.
- From the Tools menu, select Folder Options.
- Select the Offline Files tab.
- Make the required changes, such as checking the Enable Offline Files box. The Synchronize all offline files before logging off option forces resynchronization before the OS logs off but doesn’t slow down the log-off process.
