Don't forget ZoneAlarm 2.0, available from: http://www.zonelabs.com/ This works on 95/98 as well as NT/2000, but make sure you uninstall and download the latest version before adding Service Pack 1 to 2000, then reinstall, or you could get problems with TCP/IP.

Altavista Firewall is no longer available. It has been bought by Axent. The technology is incorporated in the Raptor Firewall. The Raptor firewall is not in the list. See http://enterprisesecurity.symantec.com/products/products.cfm?ProductID=47&PID=1613445 for info on raptor (btw Axent has been bought up by Symantec) Regards, Bert Lankester

Hi! Even Microsoft has stopped calling Proxy Server a firewall, they are now pushing ISA server, which appears to be more like it. I am also surprised about the inclusion of WinGate, which I would have thought is a proxy rather than firewall. I would add Gauntlet from network associates to the list. Regards Kevin
