Q. My USB keyboard isn’t working during boot-up, so I can’t do things such as typing my Windows BitLocker Drive Encryption key. What’s causing this problem?
A. This problem is typically caused by disabling legacy USB support in the computer’s BIOS. Even though the OS may support USB during the initial boot, you need legacy USB support enabled if you want to use a USB keyboard
