Antivirus/Mail Server - 23 Aug 2005

Antivirus/Mail Server. These names look familiar as winners in the mail server antivirus space: vendors Trend Micro and McAfee and their products ScanMail for Microsoft Exchange and McAfee GroupShield for Microsoft Exchange. The two products each moved up one spot in the winners' circle from last year to take first place and second place, respectively, this year. Winner ScanMail offers real-time detection and removal of viruses, scalable configuration and remote management, quarantine management to contain the spread of viruses, and features to help conserve network resources. A new name in the top group this year is Eset with its NOD32 product, coming on strong to claim third place.
