July 12, 2005 (Loveland, Colorado) - Kim Paulsen, publisher of Penton Media's (OTCBB:PTON) Windows IT Pro Group, announced that Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine won seven separate awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) in the 26th Annual Awards Competition.

"We are especially proud that the re-design of Windows IT Pro magazine has earned national recognition, as our readers and advertisers have responded so positively to the upgrades we've made in the magazine."
At the national level, Larry Purvis, senior art director of Windows IT Pro, won the Bronze for Publication Redesign for the 2004 relaunch of the magazine as Windows IT Pro. The six regional awards went to:
