You could also use the Format-Hex cmdlet from the PowerShell Community Extensions (http://pscx.codeplex.com).
The function Get-FileHex on this page: http://www.sans.org/windows-security/2010/02/11/powershell-byte-array-hex-convert/ is a more polished version of GetHex1.ps1, with some useful additional arguments
