Fewer Vista Migrations Planned Despite SP1 Release - 13 Aug 2008
The release of Microsoft Vista SP1 hasn't impacted IT administrators' plans to adopt the newest Windows OS, a June 2008 online survey conducted by King Research and commissioned by KACE Networks found. In fact, more IT departments have no Vista-migration plans than a similar November 2007 survey found.

I'm surprised politicians don't use top 10 lists more often. The candidates can understand them (unless they can't count to 10), and reading them builds to a melodramatic finish.

So when I see a top 10 list in one of my RSS feeds, I usually stop and look.

Internet Pioneer Update: Andreessen Joins Facebook Board
Netscape cofounder and Mosaic coauthor Marc Andreessen joined Facebook’s Board of Directors on July 1. Andreessen is currently the chief technology officer of Ning (www.ning.com), a social-network creation platform provider. Ning lets users create their own customizable online social networks.

Netscape Communications was acquired by AOL in 1998 for a reported $4.2 billion.
