What are the hardware requirements for running Windows Vista?
 

A. Microsoft has published the hardware requirements for Vista at http://www.microsoft.com/technet/windowsvista/evaluate/hardware/vistarpc.mspx. Basically, the PC must have:

  • a modern CPU
  • 512MB or more of memory
  • a DirectX 9-class graphics processor (64MB of memory for the full Aero Glass experience)
