A. The XP and Win2K server family include an adminpak.msi Windows Installer that consists of tools to manage server services from either an XP Professional or Win2K Professional client. You must use the correct version of adminpak.msi; otherwise, you risk corrupting your directory service. Use the Win2K adminpak.msi on only Win2K machines to manage a Win2K domain. Use the Windows .NET adminpak.msi on only XP machines to manage .NET and Win2K domains. You can't install either set on earlier OSs.
