Drag-and-Drop Support in Win2K's Taskbar

To move files into open folders or running applications, I've tried dragging the files from Windows Explorer and dropping them onto the folder's or application's icon in the Windows 2000 taskbar. However, this method doesn't seem to work. Do you know of a registry tweak or other trick that will let me move files this way?

Win2K doesn't support the method you describe. However, when you drag a file or other object onto a taskbar icon and hover over the icon for a few seconds, the related folder or applica-tion window will open, then you can drop the item into that window. (Of course, the applicability of this tip depends on the application in question and whether it supports drag-and-drop operations.)
