I use Logitech's Cordless iTouch Keyboard with my Windows 2000 system. Generally, I like the keyboard, but I have one nagging problem.
Every time I shut down my system, I receive a kbdtray.dll initialization error. (A coworker who has the same keyboard also has this problem.) Is this a known bug, or do you think the problem is particular to something in our desktop environment?
The symptom you describe is the result of a known bug for which Logitech provides a fix. Download and install Logitech's iTouch software (version 1.6 build 97 or later) from the vendor's Keyboard Support Web site (http://www.logitech.com/cf/support/kybdfiles_itouch.cfm). Upgrading the software resolves the kbdtray.dll shutdown error and several other errors. Another problem that this upgrade corrects (but which Logitech doesn't mention in the release notes) is an annoying problem whereby common key sequences launch the system's configured multimedia audio player application.

I have one annoying problem with my logitech cordless keyboard. My keys wont work when i hold them down. Like i hold the arrow keys to move the marker in the text it goes for a little while then stops then starts again... this is very annoying when u talk to ppl online when u have to delete whole lines with the ins key and other stuff.. it all keys that have the same problem. anyone know what do do about it? please mail me at spawnj@hotmail.com. I Have The Logitech Cordless iTouch Keyboard Its Ok but it misses out keys sometimes when it gets confused with digital radio signals. Anyway, it's a good buy and I recommend it. And i also have a comment to the top saying Your Keyboard Is Working, It's Just The Refresh Rate it works at. Check the FAQ at www.compaq.com to find out more on this issue.

I am working on Windows 2000, My keyboard is having some problem, like when i type letter "a" it will print "b" on on the notepad or wordpad what should i do.

I have recently connected a kvm switch, for which I only need to hit the scroll lock key 2x to switch back & forth. My f-keys are no longer mappable, even through the iTouch front-end application. My first thought is that they're possibly using the same .dll files, so I plan to investigate that option... In the meantime, does anyone know if this is a know issue with Logitech software?
