No, but there was one released a couple of days ago. I installed it, it looks great! (it got online somehow, it is origanlyl made for Windows Media Center PCs)

I agree. I could have made a colour scheme in 3 years and I'm blind, deaf, have no hands or arms and died last thursday. Microsoft....big bag of arse.

i call BS. none of the color schemes in XP are suitable for the vision impaired. they would typically use one of the high contrast schemes under windows classic style. also, if 'windows classic style' is used in XP you can edit the colors of most of the display items. why can't that be done with the XP style? M$ wants to charge some money for themes...

They are stored in the luna.msstyles files. to find others search for msstyles files or try something like style xp

The links DO exist. Look closely at them. For some reason that the administrators of this forum obviously overlooked, links are not being posted properly. There's a space included after each forward slash, or double set of forward slashes. Delete the spaces - I'm looking at both sites right now.

Yeah really, if you have ever known about the cool color selection on Windows Media Player, i think it should be like that in a way, that you have slidable bars to select a cool color scheme for the windows bars. Or ever have it directly connected to it soo that the color schemes of both match. arg.. any color schemes left? -matt-

Google for "WindowBlinds" It is good for changing color, icons animations etc. Make your Windows XP look like a Mac or make it look black :) Buy the enhanced version!

Good lord people, learn how to use a forum. You start from the top, read EVERY post until you find your answer. Posting the same question 100 times is not going to help anything. If somone has asked your question, look for an answer. On a forum like this with no time-based priority (ie. newer threads move up in a master list), there's no reason to say "hey, anyone find it yet?" because when someone does, and cares to share, they'll post it, regardless of how many people asked for it. While you're out looking for these colors like me, Google "internet etiquette" and select the wednet.edu link. Read through it and commit it to heart. This is a "new" form of communication, so you have to learn the language.

You guys are retard, those lines lead to Programs that force windows to totally change the theme. Those program will **** up your PC in a matter of months, nevermind slow it down totally... I know this is hard to understand.... Default Windows Theme ...but different color schemes... not hard...

Windows Themes slow down Windows. Period. We are talking about new Color Schemes for default WnXP themes, and all the links in this forum lead to Skin progs heavy with spyware 3rd party progs that will mess your windows badly. People posting Skin programs MUST be stupid (to be in this forum, which is NOT about skins) or the owners/coders of those spyware xit - FU** OFF! this forsum is exactly what i've been loking for. coz i'm sick of the windows colours too.. it amazes me just how simple changing colours was in windows 2000 and win 98 and yet the most advanced windows at the moment.. xp is so backward is this very simple way.. ithis is giving me a headache.

ive only used default blue and silver I aint even gonna use dookie green which idiot made that one?

Why can't you pick a color out of the color palette then it automatically changes like on the Media Player? Or perhaps an entire customization page, so you can pick multiple colors?

Instead of complaining about MS not having more than 3 schemes, why don't you expend this energy and create your own. If you can post a message you can figure out how to create your own schemes

I haven't complained, but I found this thread when I recently switched my home PC to XP and wasn't happy with the choices either. So I did go out and do something. (BTW: "If you can post a message you can figure out how to create your own schemes". It wasn't overly difficult, but I wouldn't nescessarily put the difficulty level the same as posting. LOL) If anyone is interested, I have created what I call the "Jewels" collection. 7 new Color Styles based soly on Luna, where the only changes are the main colors (no pics, graphics, sounds, icons, cursors, etc. ONLY colors). I'm happy to share my work if anyone wants it. No charge, but at your own risk. If you are just looking for some new colors, check out my "Jewels" page on my site for my writeup and downloads. Enjoy! I was interested and have successfully downloaded and installed in Dec 2006. I applaud your efforts. It does exactly what it says - without any impact on the system. Only small issue is that the quoted web address has an incorrect uppercase "J". This initially stopped my browser from finding the site. kaptain cavemen website is down :(. Google has a backup of the original page, but not the jewels.txt Does anyone have that jewels file with the additional color schemes. Yes, I don't want styleXP, windowblinds all those other 3rd party stuff, all I want is a simple way to have different colors, that's it... How simple is that? :)
