A. To supply certain government agencies with software, Microsoft can't include undocumented features, including Easter eggs, in its software. As a result, no Easter eggs exist in XP.

I have found two things in Windows xp I consider to be Easter Eggs. In your windows folder C:/windows there is a movie file called clock its just a simple movie but I consider it to be an Easter Egg also there is a file called 0 and has nothing written in it I also consider this an Easter Egg.

Dear Friend:

WinXP does come with "Easter Eggs".
For example, open the game Solitaire (Not Spider Solitaire) and press: ALT+SHIFT+2
Result: you win

This along with the "0" and Clock.avi files in your c:\WINDOWS directory too.

Thanks for your time,..

Absolute nonsense. This has got nothing to do with gov. agencies. There are more countries than just the US, remember. (Even though most US-citizens have never been told that there's more beyond their borders :-) - The Dutch, French and German versions of Windows did have Easter eggs in Windows 3.1, 95, 98, 98SE, NT4, 2000 and will most likely have them in XP. The fact that these eggs may not exist in the US versions, is irrelevant. Your statement simply is false.

C'mon Microsoft!! Why does everything have to be done by the book? Its nice to see developers pictures or mini games hidden inside software. Where's the old Microsoft gone? Everything seems to be done for profit nowadays and it would be nice to see a bit of light-hearted fun!
