Only monospaced fonts show when you right-click the CMD.EXE window title bar, press Properties and select the Font tab.

You can add installed monospaced fonts to the font selection by adding the appropriate Value Name at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Console\TrueTypeFont

The 0 value name is already present and contains Lucida Console.

You can add Value Name 00 and set this string data type to Courier New and add Value Name 000 and set this string data type to Lucida Sans Typewriter.

NOTE: Both of these monospaced True Type fonts were already installed on my systems.

NOTE: Links to some monospaced fonts can be located at http://www.lowing.org/fonts/.
