NAS. This category gathered votes for both hardware and software solutions, but Dell's PowerVault NAS emerged as this year's favorite. With four hot-swappable Serial ATA (SATA) drives, as much as 4GB of RAM, and two integrated 10/100/1000GB Ethernet LAN ports, the PowerVault is a great value that can expand with your company's needs. The system runs Windows Storage Server 2003 (the second place winner) with preinstalled and preconfigured network protocols to let you integrate it with Windows, OS X, and UNIX/Linux systems.
