Windows Millennium is the first deliverable from the Consumer Windows Division and its focus lies in advancing technologies for home computer users in four key areas: PC Health/"It Just Works", digital media and entertainment, the online experience, and home networking. In addition, the second beta release of Windows Millennium further embraces the effort to simplify the PC. Millennium offers technologies that streamline the start-up process, increase support for a myriad of hardware components and proactively seek to prevent system problems before they occur.
