How can I rename a user from the command prompt?

A. A utility, RENUSER.EXE exists which can be downloaded from http://www.ntfaq.com/download/renuser.zip which has the following usage:

C:\> renuser <old username> <new username> [<domain name>]
e.g. C:\> renuser savillj johns savilltech

what could cause an 'Error setting user information (997).'
message?
i couldnt rename a user from windows explorer so i thought i would use renuser.zip.

i typed
C:\unzipped\renuser>renuser ImmmoralitY ImmmortalitY WIN2K_II

on one line.

before that, i typed:
C:\>echo %logonserver%
\\WIN2K_II

997 = you don't have the prvileges - please make sure you have admin rights on this machine

I find it.
but it doesnt work
its says its done it.

renuser oldname newname

says its done, but it doesnt actually rename the account!
