Microsoft unleashed a series of critical security patches during its September software update cycle.

Affected products include the JScript Scripting Engine, Wireless LAN AutoConfig Service, Windows Media Format (WMF) files, the Windows TCP/IP stack, and the DHTML Editing Component ActiveX Control.

All of the vulnerabilities can lead to remote code execution.

Details about these problems is available in the company's Security Bulletin Summary for September 2009.
