Still running Microsoft Office 2003? Don’t have the personnel to spare for a migration to Office 2007? ConverterTechnology believes it has the solution for you. The company recently announced OfficeConverter 2007, which streamlines migration to Office 2007. The solution identifies files that need to be converted, flags potentially incompatible or corrupt files, and automatically fixes problems, with the goal of reducing app downtime and increasing employee productivity during a migration. The solution consists of four modules: DiscoverIT, which identifies all files on the network; ScanIT, which identifies known compatibility problems; ReportIT, which generates reports about which files to convert and when; and ConvertIT, which fixes compatibility problems.
