Troubleshooting a Netmonsetup Problem

When I try to run the netmonsetup.exe file that I copied from the Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) CD-ROM, it fails, saying the license can't be found. What's the problem?
If you copied the NETMON\i386 folder from the CD-ROM to a local folder, you also need to create a SMSSetup folder at the same level as the NETMON folder and copy the license.txt from SMSSetup into it. The installation will then run correctly.
