Exchange 2016 debuts to delight on-premises customers

After what seems to have been a much calmer Technology Adoption Program (beta tests), Exchange 2016 passed all the required quality benchmarks to reach Release-to-Manufacturing (RTM) status on September 29. Of course, RTM is an archaic term dating back to the time when software was ceremoniously handed over by development to the folks who created copies of the distribution kit on floppy disks, then CDs, and latterly DVDs for delivery to customers....More

How quickly do you intend to upgrade your company's computers to Windows 10?

Microsoft will make the Enterprise SKUs available on August 1st for companies wishing to deploy Windows 10 to corporate computers. But, just how quickly do company's intend to deploy Windows 10?

A bigger update this fall (possibly October) should bring more robust business features to Windows 10, so many companies will most likely take a wait-and-see attitude. Its early days, but we're wondering how much thought has already gone into Windows 10 planning.

Take a quick second to participate in the following poll...

Do we need to know what's included in Windows 10 updates?

Over the past month, since the release of the Windows 10 upgrade, Microsoft has delivered four cumulative updates. This quick update pace has been to fix bugs and deliver security updates, but also to expose new features that the company isn't talking about. For consumers, this should be no big deal since they can't opt-out of updates anyway. But, for businesses, this could be a big deal and is yet another thing that Microsoft seems to be "taking away" from IT.

Is having full disclosure of what's included in each update important?

Is Microsoft on track with their upcoming Windows 10 Enterprise features?

Last week we shared details about both the upcoming enhancements for Windows Update for Business and Windows 10 Enterprise.

These new features will all be tested in a fresh build of Windows 10 Enterprise which will be distributed to those on the Windows Insider program in the next couple of months.

With at least 1.5 million installations of Windows 10 Enterprise already, there should be plenty of telemetry and feedback about these new features?

Is there a specific feature you are looking forward to trying out more than the others when these hit Insider machines?
